IMAA is an independent, self-supporting, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization registered in California in 1994. Please note the following:

  • IMAA has no employees. No one is on payroll.

  • IMAA depends entirely on donor support and volunteers.

  • 100% of gifts received by IMAA goes to the project site, minus bank wire transfer costs, office material, and space-rental costs.

  • Donations via this website, while convenient for the donor, reduces the gift received by IMAA by 5.9% because of website and credit card fees.

  • IMAA supports the tuition of 20-25% of students, thanks to the generosity of donors

  • The average tuition cost per child (including books, stationary, uniforms, etc.) is about $30/month or $300/year.

  • Health checkup for adults for non-communicable chronic diseases costs about $8-$10 per patient, including laboratory tests and ECG.

  • Major projects, such as building projects or large equipment purchases, are supported by individuals or organizations who are kind enough to provide large donations.
